In the wake of the shooting by federal agents of Alex Pretti, Duchess Harris explains why people in Minneapolis don't feel safe but are still determined to protest. She also goes into depth about U.S. rights and how they've been under siege during these past few weeks, and the impact it's having on the ground in the community.

I read the post and it really highlights how tense and emotional the situation in Minneapolis was, especially how people felt unsafe but still continued to speak out and protest.  It made me think of a time when my workload got overwhelming and I saw people talking about do my real estate exam for me just to handle pressure. The article feels powerful though. It shows how real struggles go beyond quick solutions. It makes me feel that understanding people’s experiences matters more than anything.
