WATCH: Harris Joins 'Congress to Campus' event at Macalester



In October 2022, Macalester hosted Congress to Campus, the flagship program of the Association of Former Members of Congress, which has emphasized the importance of bipartisan dialogue and communicating across differences for more than forty years. Macalester's inaugural Congress to Campus event included a discussion in Mairs Concert Hall—guided by forensics students—between two former members of Congress who approach the issue of reproductive choice from different perspectives.
